This morning I lit some incense and candles.
It’s always hard to say goodbye to summer. But autumn has its own wonderful sides. Not just the colorful leaves and magical light.
The energy it brings is perfect for long hours in the studio. For pausing. For being here and now. Autumn invites us inward so deeply. It has already opened the door for me, and I feel it’s waiting for me. Or rather, I am waiting. Today, I took a piece of clay in my hand with great pleasure.
Our meetings after a long break are more touching. I touch it as if for the first time. And I observe it anew. How it yields to my fingers, how it changes during the work. How it slowly hardens and transforms from a malleable mass into a dry, well-formed figure. Even though we have known each other for so many years, it still amazes me.
I love sharing this. I love spreading this passion. Inviting others to focus, to true presence.
I do this during my workshops. The next workshop for beginners is on October 10th.
